Directly Connected with SmartThings Hub via Zigbee. Simply add SmartWings shades to the SmartThings App.

HOW TO PAIR YOUR SMARTBLINDS WITH SMARTTHINGS

Follow the steps below to pair your blinds with the SmartThings smart home platform. (A SmartThings 2nd/3rd Gen hub is needed.)

  1. Open the SmartThings app on your mobile phone.
  2. Choose Devices and click the plus icon on the top right corner.
  3. Scan the QR Code attached to your Smartblinds.
  4. Press the P button on the motor head for 6 seconds until the motor jogs 2 times and the LED light turns solid red.
  5. The motor jogging 2 times and the green LED light flashing 3 times indicates that your blinds are connected to SmartThings.

Now your blinds are connected to SmartThings. You can start setting up your Amazon Smart Home!

HOW TO SET SMART SCENES

Setting up a new scene with SmartThings is quite easy:

  1. Click “Add Scene” in the Automation interface.
  2. Select control devices and then choose the shade that you want to set scenes for.
  3. Program the shade level or select close or open for the shade.
  4. If you select the "Good morning" scene, you can open a shade or group of shades as programmed.

HOW TO ACHIEVE AUTOMATION

Use the automation features of your smart home system or hub to create rules or routines for your smart blinds. Set up schedules for your smart blinds to open, close, or adjust at specific times of the day. For example:

  1. Click the Automation icon, select "Add automation".
  2. Set Time Automation, and set the exact time.
  3. Program the shade level or select the shade to open/close. Click the Done button to finish the setting.
